Why are cases of Domestic Terrorism, like the Ricin in Las Vegas, covered up by US officials? Here we have a case in which a large quantity of a chemical weapon was found in a room along with anarchist textbooks and firearms, but US officials are quick to say that it is not a case of terrorism. A similar case occurred back in 2006 in Nashville, when a US citizen was found with a quantity of Ricin and a means of dispersal in the form of pipe bombs. Why can the so many parties obtain impunity, when they claim “Domestic Terrorism”? I filed a small claims action in a local court. It cost me about $25 to file, $50 to serve the defendant, and a lot of driving around. The amount I was asking was $24,000. It was a simple case, that I would be easily awarded a settlement for. The court was supposed to send the defendant and myself postcards informing us of the court date. The court did so over a holiday weekend. The postcards were mailed Friday afternoon, but Monday was a holiday. The court date was on Tuesday. Both myself, and the defendant received our postcards after the court date. The case was dismissed for a “no-show”. I complained, but the judge refused to budge on this. I tried going over his head, but nobody would co-operate. I was out $24,075. I assumed I could go to a different court, so I asked that they make good on the $75. They refused. I kept complaining until the head of “Court Security” contacted me. He placed a restraining order against me to keep me from contacting the court. He stated that if I attempted to do so again, I would be regarded as a “terrorist” and can be jailed indefinitely in Guantanamo Bay. Now this really pisses me off. There is no excuse for this, and from what everyone tells me there no appeal. I was tempted to get a lawyer, and ask him to get me the entire $24,075, and my legal costs. As soon as the word potential “Domestic Terrorist” was mentioned, no lawyer would touch it. Maybe I missed something, but last I know Bin Laden was not after a refund from a half-baked municipal count when he ordered the attack on the World Trade Center. Clearly these morons would not know what a terrorist is if they where hit in the head by one. I ran into a similar case with our phone carrier when they let an ‘identity thief’ get phone service in my name, in a nearby town. They would not turn off the account, and I became very angry. They said any "threat" (what threat?) against a public telephone carrier is considered “Domestic Terrorism”. So does this mean any clown who wants rip anyone off can yell, “Domestic Terrorism” and do as he or she pleases? The outcome: The defendant was sympathetic when I sent her copies of all the dialog and the threats of “domestic terrorism” implied by the court. She paid me the money on an installment plan., over 24 months. That was very “adult” of her. The clown that stole my identity committed several other crimes using my and others identity and was arrested (this included obtaining a driver license in my name). I was notified of his release from jail. I have not had any other problem with him. I was able to convince the phone carrier with some help from the arresting officer. I also obtained his report and sent it to Experian to clear up my credit. This took about two years. I had to do all this on my own. No lawyer would help. I forgot to mention that this happened about 3 years ago. NBC… I think I will get copies of all the documents, black out my name, and mail it in. Guantanamo Bay… They did not specifically site Guantanamo Bay, they just said “jailed indefinably under the Patriot Act”, I assumed that meant Guantanamo Bay. Sorry my bad. I just made an assumption. End of America… Interesting.

does anyone know like since the Patriot act was passed what kind of an impact it has had on domestic terrorism I need to know like maybe any suspected terrorists that has been caught thanks to the Patriot Act or things it has done to reduce terroristic acts
Domestic terrorism is historically a bigger problem than international terrorism...? So why have we not started by securing us here at home? The borders are wide open and there are no takers, except people who want a job, or welfare. There are more people in the US injured or killed by one another than any amount of terrorist action has killed in the past 15 years (on US soil). We have a lot to fix in the US, but we're throwing all our money at some image of dominance, when we have the inability to dominate ourselves. The way I see it, the terrorists have got us. They are getting exactly what they want in a sense. "Terrorism is an attempt to defeat an enemy by striking directly against it's general population and thereby creating a sense of terror which, it is hoped, will lead the population to move against the government and force it to some sort of political acquiescence or accommodation" - George Friedman The way I see it is George Bush accepted fear mongering from the terrorists and turned our nation radical. His fear of terrorism Destroyed us.
