Why do people say bombing Iran like that is goign to be easy?

Do people who says this really know what they are talking about. Bombing another country is an act of war. So that means we go to war with Iran. Now where do we get the resource to fight this war? Bring back the draft? People Iran is not just going to let us bomb in their country and do nothing about it.

9. If America does attack Iran it will most likely be through its intermediary Israel and Israel certainly has the military capability to do this. The Iranian response will inevitably be to counter attack against the true source of the attack, The USA. As Iran does not possess a massive military arsenal like the USA then they will have to counter attack by means of what the US will call terrorism. The best option by far would be for America and Israel to leave Iran alone. Iran has never launched a war of aggression against another nation and is not the seething hotbed of suicide bombers and ranting mullahs that the U.S. media portrays it to be. Iranian people are just like American people.They want to bring up their children in peace and prosperity but the constant threats of aggression from America will inevitably radicalise their government into a more militaristic state given the need to defend against American terrorism. Reading the other answers here is so depressing as it sheds light on just how deeply Americans have been brainwashed by the ludicrous propaganda of their own corrupt government. When you think about it how likely is it that a country of 60,000,000 people who are amongst the best educated in the world are going to be a bunch of screaming mad nutcases intent on nukeing Israel and America. Iran is a modern democracy with a politically active population that have recently been through a revolution to remove a thoroughly despotic dictator installed by America. Iranians hold their government to account and any Iranian president that was intent on stirring up trouble for them would not last very long unlike Americans that have allowed their lunatic administration to channel all the country's wealth into the export of terrorism around the world whilst a huge part their own population live with third world health care provision.

Literally the whole world are against the neocons and if the USA attacks Iraq, even by Israeli proxy, there are strong chances the world will unite against American policy... which the planners have said will involve nukes. After losing hearts and minds on that scale the US cannot possibly 'win' without destroying the entire planet... themselves with it. That would drive millions of people into actively opposing the USA including what they would term 'ordinary first world people like them', it would be a total catastrophe.

They will attack if they are attacked, 4-US military is already booged down in Iraq. Iran controls the Shiite militias in southern Iraq. If attacked those southern Iraqis will make life hell for US forces. 5-Iran will activate Hezbolla and have them strike at Israel. You know well that Israel with all its military might was defeated the last time Iranian trained Hezbollah wentg to war with them.

It's not only that, sometimes people forget that war means death and carnage. In the case of Iran vs. America, two great nations will rip each other apart because of some dirty political work. Any war is a civil war because it's between humans, brothers and sisters. But if one points his gun at my people then I will at him, it's sad, but it's called defending my country: Iran, and it's my moral and religious duty to do so.
