Why are we planning a bombing run on Iran?

Anybody have a clue why we are planning a bombing run on Iran? As far as I know we have properly opened up communication. So, instead of talking we are going to throw bombs at them. Wouldn't it be cheaper to offer some financial incentives instead of spending 80 million a bomb that will primarly kill people who are only following orders? Surely there has to be some way for us to solve this without another war. If we end up engaging Iran you can almost bet that they will have to reinstitute the draft, because we are spread way to thin, both from a financial perspective and a military perspective. What do you think?

2. Hello....because it's Iran! Iran is the number one threat to world peace at this moment. They fund any and every extremist group willing to cause havoc. If you are so hellbent on opening lines of communication with this terrorist nation, try your luck and report back to us. Sometimes only physical force will foster peace. Iran has blatantly disregarded all attempts at cooperation and has challenged the United States in the media. You sound like a bleeding heart liberal.
3. We have plans to bomb at lot of countries, don't mean we will. That is why we train. What are you really afraid of? the draft? Plan on making a run for the border? If you go I hope you don't come back

5. Maybe they have oil. Seriously we are big brother and as such we need to dominate the world and have them see things our way. Yes they support terrorism and want to dominate too. So does China, N. Korea, India, etc. This is the begining of the end. There will be wars and rumors of war.
